Cookies can be very helpful and provide an enhanced user experience. IACEE 2021 may use cookies on the web solution.

The IACEE 2021 website never uses cookies to survey an individual user’s pattern of use or other information, which could violate your user’s privacy protections.

The IACEE 2021 website will only use cookies for the following purposes:

  • to store user preferences, e.g. language settings
  • to manage logons, and sessions
  • to collect statistics in order to improve this website

We use Google analytics anonymization function to mask your IP-adress. Complete IP addresses will not be registered.

If you want to turn off cookies completely, you can do so in your browsers privacy and security settings.

Newsletter

IACEE 2021 (controller) send newsletters by e-mail to inform about the IACEE 17th World Conference on Continuing Engineering Education (IACEE 2021). To be able to send you e-mails we need your e-mail address. In addition to this the system will automatically collect data to produce statistic reports of each newsletter send out. Such as: browser type, operating system, and access times. The system used for our newsletters is eMarketeer (processor).

Your data is stored in a database for this purpose only, will not be shared and is deleted when you stop your subscription. Your data will also be deleted if we get feedback that says the e-mail is no longer active.

The e-mail campaigns are handled by NTNU Conferences / Norwegian University of Science and Technology Centre for Continuing Education and Professional Development (controller’s representative).

Conference registration

To register for the conference, you must give consent to storing and processing of your personal data. The conference registration system has a separate privacy statement available in registration form. This is also where you give your consent.

Your rights

All who ask are entitled to basic information about personal data processing in a company pursuant to the Personal Information Act (Personvernloven, Norwegian law). IACEE 2021 provides this information in this declaration and will refer to it in any requests. Those registered in one of IACEE 2021’s systems are entitled to access their own information. The person also has the right to request that incorrect, incomplete or information IACEE 2021 has no access to processing is corrected, deleted or supplemented. Claims from the registrant must be answered free of charge and no later than 30 days.
